How it works

How do I get started?

Your plan is tailored to your dietary goals and preferences. We offer options for a 3, 5 or 6 day plan, with optional breakfasts or snacks. Simply follow the steps to create your own customised plan.

Can I change the meals in my plan?

Absolutely! Choose from over 30 delicious meals each week*. Your plan is incredibly flexible, allowing you to choose meals according to your preferences. Just log into your account, navigate to "Delivery calendar," and select "Edit meal plan." From there, you can customise your entire week's menu (and up to 3 weeks in advance) by choosing the meals you want. Any extra costs or deductions will be automatically updated in your basket. Don’t stress if you don't pick your meal each week. Our unique algorithm learns your meal preferences ensuring we select meals tailored to your likes.

* Number of menu choices will be restricted by protein type and/ or allergies and exclusions.

How much does it cost?

Our main meals range from £6 - £9. Your weekly price will be displayed after your plan is created, depending on your meal selections.

How do I place an order?

Once you are happy with your plan, proceed to checkout and enter your details. Select your preferred day to start your deliveries on either Sunday or Wednesday and enter your payment details. We accept Debit/Credit Cards including American Express.

How does the ordering and payment of my weekly plan work?

We are a subscription-based company therefore your plan will automatically be renewed every week with payment taken once a week.

Can I just take a look at the menu?

Of course! Head to our website, and you can view our current menu selection. Keep in mind that our menu changes weekly to provide variety and seasonal freshness.

Changes and cancellations

Can I pause or cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can easily skip deliveries or cancel your subscription. To skip, go into your ‘deliveries’ and click ‘skip delivery’. To cancel, log in to your account and head over to ‘my plan’, and click ‘cancel subscription’. The system will schedule your cancellation for after you have received all the meals you have paid for.

Can I cancel/change a delivery after the order cut off times?

We deliver fresh food twice a week and therefore have two cut-offs, Wednesday at 8pm for a Sunday delivery and Sunday at 8pm for a Wednesday delivery. This cut off is in place to allow us to reduce food waste. Therefore, we are unable to cancel or change your order after the cut off times.

Can I make changes after the deadline?

You can only make changes to your plan: Before Wednesday 8pm for Sunday delivery and before Sunday 8pm for Wednesday delivery.

Can I just take a look at the menu?

Sure! You can see the menu for the next three weeks here.

Where do you source your food from?

As a brand focused on changing the way people eat for the better - we take great care with where we source our food from. All of our beef, chicken, and turkey are Red Tractor approved. All our leafy greens are grown and produced in the UK. We use the freshest herbs (literally, they’re grown just down the road from our kitchens) and all our fish are ASC assured, meaning happier and healthier fish.

How will I know what each meal contains?

All our items on the menu have a full macro and ingredients breakdown listed on the menu page. You will also find this information on the labels of our food containers.

Do you offer halal food?

Yes, all of our meals are Halal suitable. All our suppliers produce halal-certified products and all of our protein is Halal. We do not handle any Pork (including pork derivatives) or alcohol within our site or products.

How do I prepare my food?

All Frive meals are freshly prepared by our team of in-house chefs. Meals are cooked fresh twice a week, individually packed, and delivered to your door for you to heat and eat in minutes.

Can I heat in the oven?

All of our meals come with heating instructions for the microwave but we don’t provide heating instructions for the oven. It would be possible if you wish, to move the food into an oven-safe dish and heat that way. Always ensure your meals are heated properly before consuming.

How long do the meals last?

Because we don’t use any artificial preservatives, when stored in a fridge your meals will last 3 days.

What if I have allergies?

Frive meals can cater for dairy & gluten intolerances. When placing your order, we ask you to highlight any allergens that you have. This information will then highlight to you any meal that contains the selected allergen(s). To see the meals’ full ingredient breakdown including any allergens, please visit our menu page. Although we take every care to remove all bones and shells, some may remain.

Are you suitable for dairy and gluten intolerances?

Frive meals can cater for dairy & gluten intolerances. However please be aware of the risk of cross-contamination by our manufacturers and suppliers.

What if there are issues with my meals?

We aim to provide 100% satisfaction guarantee. If there are any issues with your meals, please contact us immediately explaining the issue to us and we will try our best to resolve this for you.


How does my food stay cool?

All your meals are packed with special ice packs and insulation, so your food keeps cool until you get home.

Can I recycle my packaging?

Yes, our bowls are recyclable. Simply remove the plastic lining, which should come off easily. The lining and film lid can be recycled with soft plastics. The ice packs can be reused, or emptied (and washed down the sink with hot water) and recycled.


What days do you deliver?

Depending on your plan type we deliver to you either once, or twice a week, this is because our meals are cooked fresh without any artificial preservatives. To receive your order on Sunday, please ensure you place the order by 8pm on the Wednesday before. To receive your order on the Wednesday, please ensure you place the order by 8pm on the Sunday before.

What areas do you deliver to?

We deliver to mainland UK, but please note that there are some areas in Scotland where delivery is not available, this is because we can not guarantee next delivery and we need our meals to arrive to you quick and fresh.

How will my meals be delivered?

For most London addresses, your meals will be delivered by Hive. They will message you on the morning of delivery to notify you of your estimated arrival time and tracking details. For all other addresses, your meals will be delivered by DPD. You can download the DPD app for easy access to your delivery information.

How much is delivery?

Delivery is FREE when you spend £45 for a 3-day plan or £75 for a 5 or 6 day plan (before any discounts). Otherwise there is a £6 delivery charge per delivery.

What if I’m not going to be home?

No problem! When you are placing your order at checkout, you’ll be able to specify delivery instructions to the driver such as a safe place. On the day of delivery, you will receive a text message and you will have the option to update your safe place instructions i.e. leave with any neighbour or leave at front door. You will be able to see the proof of delivery via your tracking link which will enclose a photo of where the parcel was left.
